For the love of all that is holy, the New York Times might become the cause of my first stroke, given a recent inexplicable headline.

The cause of my exaggerated taking of offense reads: “England’s delayed reopening is a blow to culture and nightlife.”

Seriously?

Is Leisure the top priority right now?

All cases of COVID-19 in the United Kingdom are from the Delta variant of SARS-CoV 2, the virus that causes COVID-19.

Despite high levels of vaccination, they have a terrible surge.

Allow me to address our Gray Lady — it has been a tough year all around. Who doesn’t miss dinner and a show? I know I certainly do.

Another fact to share might have been that the Delta-variant in the US doubles every two weeks. Or that it’s 10% of US cases right now. But we understand your pain. I think that we do.
