Russia Shows Calm Despite Provocation

We would do well to be careful.

I am a loyal American, but Vladimir Putin most effective opposing leader I’ve seen.

No American president would have been able not to err in the face of NATO and American provocations. The United States political class has never looked more captured by whatever backstage manipulators run things.

Five ideas to make that case:

1. Was Joe Biden ever a warlike hawk with a hard-on for the Soviet Union?

2. We are in the process of trying to remove the Russian state.

3. This new cold war is based on insanity and/or control by other than elected leaders.

4. There is zero strategic importance or national security importance to Ukraine.

5. Sending billions of dollars overseas for zero good reasons, ensuring famine and scarcity, and deliberately creating energy insecurity, we are certain this policy is an attack on us.

Let’s see which of these points holds water.
