Human Connection is Vital

All it took was a few small, true moments

Dear Kanda of I Forget Who I Just Paid Inc., thank you for a few minutes of excellent human connection.

I appreciate you for receiving and reflecting on my opener, “I guess I’m going to need the express written permission of Major League Baseball.”

You had just warned me about the words you must read whenever someone pays their bill. Your laughter at my mock horror regarding the music on hold was absolute music to my ears.

I hope you, too, have a good rest of your day and that you also stay safe. I am grateful for the glimpse of the human that you are. I hope I shared even a fraction of the value that I received.
