China will not tolerate the kind of opposition Russia met when trying to stop the West from calling the shots in Russia’s backyard.

Beijing flew military drills in the air above Taiwan this week to make sure American lawmakers got the point loud and clear.

Meanwhile, Senator Lindsey Graham wants Beijing to know that we will make China “account” for their treatment of Taiwan and its support of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

American lawmakers paid a surprise visit to Taiwan. The People’s Republic of China is not a fan of surprise visits from American lawmakers.

The Chinese Communist Party tweeted that “China firmly opposes any official interaction between the United States and China’s Taiwan region.” Six American lawmakers went to Taiwan yesterday anyway.

America believes it gets to do what it wants no matter what the CCP thinks about it.

America Ignores China

Republican Senators Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, Ben Sasse of Nebraska, Richard Burt of North Carolina, Rob Portman of Ohio, Representative Ronny Jackson of Texas, and Democratic Senator Bob Menendez of New Jersey made the trip.
